You know data should be helping.
You're just not sure where to start.

Most SMEs have more data than they realise — and less clarity than they need. If any of these land, this session was built for you.

You have reports and dashboards, but you're not confident anyone's using them to make decisions.

You know data should be helping you grow — you just don't know where the real value is hiding.

Your team spends time on data tasks, but the return on that effort isn't obvious.

You've invested in tools or platforms and feel like you're not getting the most out of them.

You're growing fast and your data setup hasn't kept pace with the business.

You want clarity and a clear next step — not a six-month engagement before anything changes.

A structured day with clear outputs.

Everything is remote and structured around your time. No preparation beyond a short questionnaire — just a few hours of focused conversation and a systems walkthrough.

0
Before the session  ·  ~30 min of your time

Pre-session questionnaire

A short written questionnaire covering your business goals, current tools and reporting, and your main frustrations with data. No preparation beyond this — it just helps us use the session time well.

1
Morning  ·  2–3 hours

Discovery conversations

A structured conversation with you and your key people. We'll cover your business goals, how decisions get made today, what data and reporting you already have, and where the real frustrations are. The aim is to understand the business before looking at the data.

2
Afternoon  ·  2–3 hours

Systems and data deep-dive

A walkthrough of your tools, systems and data flows — screen-shared, so we can look at things as they actually are. We'll review what you have, how it connects, where the quality issues are, and where the quick wins might be.

3
End of day  ·  30 min

Verbal debrief

An initial summary of what I've found — key themes, early recommendations, and anything that needs clarifying before the written report. No surprises when the document lands.

4
Within 5 working days

Your Data Value Report — delivered

The full written report, covering everything we discussed and reviewed, with clear findings and prioritised recommendations. Followed by a 30-minute call to walk through it together.

Why fully remote — and why that's a good thing

Remote works better for this format. Screen-sharing makes the systems review more natural, you can include people from different locations without logistics, and no travel costs means your £750 goes entirely into the session. All you need is a video call and access to your tools.

Prefer two half-day sessions? That works just as well — we split the morning and afternoon into separate days. Useful if a full day is hard to clear, or if different people are better suited to each part.

Concrete outputs, not just a conversation.

Everything is written up and delivered — so the findings have a life beyond the day itself and can be shared with your team or board.

Data Value Report

A clear, written assessment of your data landscape — covering current state, key findings, gaps and the context behind the recommendations. Written for decision-makers, not just technical teams.

30-Minute Follow-up Call

Included in the price and scheduled within two weeks of delivery. A chance to walk through the report together, ask questions and talk through what the next steps might look like for your business.

Built for SMEs that are ready for clarity.

This isn't for businesses starting from zero, and it isn't for organisations that already have a mature data team. It's for the gap in between.

SMEs roughly between 10 and 200 people, at a point where data decisions are becoming important.

Has some data, tools or reporting in place already — but no dedicated data or analytics team.

A decision-maker — MD, CEO, COO or similar — who can be present for the morning session and commit to the day.

Wants a clear picture and a practical plan — not a lengthy engagement before anything concrete happens.

Not sure if this is right for your business?

Let's just talk. A free 30-minute call is the easiest way to find out — no pitch, no commitment, just a conversation about where you are and whether this makes sense.

Common questions

Is it really just one day?

Yes — the session itself is one day (or two half-days if that works better). The report is delivered separately within five working days, followed by a 30-minute call to walk through it.

Why remote? Can we do it on-site?

Remote genuinely works better for this format — screen-sharing makes the systems review more practical, and you can include people from different locations without any logistics. For a discovery session, remote isn't a compromise; it's the right format. The session is remote-only at this price point.

What do I need to prepare?

Just the pre-session questionnaire, which takes around 30 minutes. Beyond that, you'll want access to your main tools and reporting during the afternoon session — but no slides, documents or preparation required.

Who from our business needs to be available?

Ideally a senior decision-maker for the morning discovery conversation, and whoever manages your tech or data tools for the afternoon systems review. These don't have to be the same person, and they don't need to be available for the whole day — just their relevant session.

What if we want to continue working together after this?

The report will naturally surface what kind of support would be most useful next. If you want to explore that — whether it's fractional leadership, a consulting project, or specific delivery work — we can talk through the options. There's no obligation and no assumed next step built into the price.

Is this right for an early-stage startup?

The session is most valuable when there's already some data, tooling and reporting in place. If you're very early stage or pre-revenue, the timing might not be right yet — drop me a line and we can work out whether it makes sense.

How quickly can we book?

Use the booking link to see current availability. If you'd prefer to have a conversation first, the free 30-minute chat is the easiest starting point.

Let's start with a conversation.

The free 30-minute chat is exactly that — a conversation. We'll talk about where your business is, what the data picture looks like, and whether the Data Value Accelerator is the right fit.

No pitch. No commitment. If it's not the right thing, I'll say so.
